- The final catalogue at the auction is subject to change. This list should be used as a guide only.
- Burchmore's reserves the right to remove a vehicle from the catalogue without notice.
- The Auction Guide contains detailed information about bidding at an auction.
REGISTRATION DEPOSIT
R8,000 deposit per vehicle. If you are planning to buy more than one vehicle, you need to pay an R8,000 deposit per vehicle.
PAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT
NO CASH OR PRIVATE/COMPANY CHEQUES are accepted on our premises for payment.
- CHEQUES are NOT accepted.
- CASH IS NOT accepted on our premises
- ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS – must reflect in Burchmore’s bank account on the day of the auction.
- CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS are accepted (For registration deposit of R8,000 only) and not for payment of the balance of the vehicle.
PAYMENT OF THE BALANCE OF THE VEHICLE
- CHEQUES are NOT accepted.
- ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS – must reflect in Burchmore’s bank account before any vehicles will be released.
- Bank Deposits - must reflect in Burchmore’s bank account before any vehicles will be released.
SHOULD YOUR BIDS NOT BE SUCCESSFUL
- EFT refunds will be refunded after 7 working days
- Credit card refunds are done immediately after the auction – which will reflect after 7 to 10 working days
COMPULSORY FICA DOCUMENTS
- All individuals are required to submit specific documentation participating in an auction.
- The documentation required is detailed once you've registered on the website.
- Only ORIGINAL OR CERTIFIED COPIES of the document will be accepted.

BIDDING ON AN AUCTION:
- All bids EXCLUDE an ADMIN FEE OF R2 500.00 (excluding VAT)
- All bids EXCLUDE 15% VAT
- NO buyers commission is payable on cars purchased on auction
Example:
Hammer Price: R60,000.00
Plus: Admin Fee: R 2,600.00
Plus: VAT (15%): R 9,390.00
Total: R71,990.00
Less: Deposit: (R 8,000.00)
Amount Owing: R63,990.00
PROCESS AFTER AUCTION
- Collect invoice after the auction
- EFT Payments must reflect as CLEARED IN BURCHMORE'S BANK ACCOUNT before releasing of any vehicles will take place
- No credit or debit card payments can be done for the balance of the vehicle
- No cash accepted on-premises
